This winter, I invested in an organizational piece that I have really enjoyed. Gone are the days of sorting laundry on the laundry room floor. This kind of system can really serve families because it allows you to incorporate teaching your kids how to sort and gives them a small way to help around the house. It's easier to think about doing laundry when it is presorted because may have time to just do a load of whites. With this system, the whites are ready to go when you are!
Your home/number of family members and space layout will dictate the kind of system you choose, but here are some ideas. DIY (Do it Yourself) included! If you have bigger kids, you can put a single laundry bin in their room and when it's full, one of their chores can come to the centralized family sorting area and sort their laundry.
