Double your $2.00 coupons

If you have a Farm Fresh near you, don't miss this Christmas gift! The offer runs from December 19th through December 24th. Click the link for specific details.  They will double up to 20 coupons per day, allowing only 2 like coupons. Google "Farm Fresh Coupon Matchups" and find a site who has done the work for you. Sites like this will tell you what Farm Fresh has on sale this week and where you can find a corresponding coupon for that product. It's basically where you learn how to maneuver the stores for the best deals! Looks like there is some free Colgate toothpaste there this week when you bring a $.50 coupon. If you are a senior citizen, you get an additional 5% off if you shop on Thursday. Let me know how you do!

Free Haircuts for your kids in august

I have read this on about 20 coupon sites, but can't seem to find it on the JcPenny site. From what I can tell, children ages 4 years - 6th grade can get a free haircut at JcPenny salons during the month of August. You must call and make an appointment and as you might guess, spots are filling up quickly. Here are the locations of the jcp salons.

Free Chick-Fil-A meal -July 13

This Friday at Chick-fil-A is Cow Appreciation Day.  On their website  they say:

"For one day only, black and white spots, cow bells and furry ears will be appropriate attire at Chick-fil-A restaurants all across the nation. In celebration of July 13, Cow Appreciation Day (an unofficial yet nationally recognized holiday), Chick-fil-A will award a FREE Meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) to any customer who comes to one of our 1,600+ restaurants fully dressed as a cow."

Now, I have not done this before, but in past years I have heard from more than one person that they are pretty leniant in giving out the meals. Any good effort should be rewarded! Here is a picture from my friend Tracy and the efforts of her clan.  Be inspired!

Domino's Pizza Deal

My husband and I watched a little segment of CNBC's Mad Money this past week. There,  it was  announced that Domino's Pizza is offering US customers a 50% discount off all pizzas ordered online at menu price. Use promo code 50OFF now through 6/17 when you order online.
And for those who prefer gluten free, they have a gluten free crust as option.

Richmond Bargains said the following: "I priced a large cheese pizza at $6.81 after discount and taxes, excluding a delivery fee."

Father's Day-June 17th

Don't forget Father's Day  this Sunday. I wanted to quickly mention a few places you might consider getting your card this year. A few weeks ago I mentioned the Dollar Tree as being a good place to pick a card. They sell them 2 for $1.00

Here's some other ideas.

I recently discovered cardstore.com. A few weeks ago, they had a coupon code for a $.99 card +free shipping. This website lets you personalize the card as well and gives you an option to send it direcly to the receiver's addresss (saves you a stamp). I just took a peek at their website and realized that $.99 deal is over. Shoot. Sorry for being slow out of the gate to share about that. The deal for today isn't quite as good, but take a look around their site. I have gotten 2 free cards since finding the site and then another for $.99. I appreciate their frequent deals.

All 5x7 Folded Father's Day Cards $1.99 each. Use Code: CWH2604

Lastly, CVS is offering $3.00 in Extra Care Bucks if you buy three Hallmark Cards (retail value of $1.49 or more). It's like getting 3 cards for $1.47. Pretty nice deal.

Most importantly, I hope you are a dad to be celebrated or know a dad or two that should be celebrated/remembered. We do in our home and are grateful for that.

The title is a bit deceiving

For the last few years, I have gotten/ purchased an Entertainment book.

Buy Your 2012 Entertainment Book Today

We use it as much as we can and it really has paid for itself over and over. My friend actually had a blog for a while chronicling all her savings using the book. As the year transpires, the price of the book reduces incrementally. Six months into the year, they are now advertising a sale price of $5.00 when you become an Annual Renewal Member!

 See Deals Near Me

The book offers discounts for restaurants, museums, golf, dry cleaning, flower delivery, rental cars, tanning, department stores, car care services and a whole lot more. It's not just entertainment, hence the deceiving title.  In Richmond, we use the Home Team Grill coupons all the time because there are five! There are also coupons for Dicks Sporting Goods and some other national chains. If I could offer one improvement,  the book should have less "buy one get one free" offers, because you don't always have a person with whom you can share your deal. Even so, it's $5.00. Try it out or give it as a gift. We got one for our wedding, so now we keep one in each car!

National Doughnut Day-Friday June 1st

National Doughnut Day- US

Krispy Kreme is celebrating National Doughnut Day by giving away one free doughnut per visiting patron. You can choose any variety of doughnut and no purchase is necessary. It is for one day only, Friday June 1st!

If you prefer Dunkin Donuts, they are offering a donut with the purchase of a beverage.

Don't you think it is funny that one store spells it DONUT and one spells it DOUGHNUT?

Get a free $25 gift card

On April 12th, I posted that you could transfer a prescription and get a $25 gift card to Walgreens. If you missed your chance (or in our case Walgreens didn't take our insurance!), Kroger is offering the same deal.

It's in the weekly Kroger circular this week. If you have trouble reading it, it simply says: "Transfer a prescription, get $25 Free Groceries. Transfers are easy...ask your Pharmacist for details." No coupon required. Just do it.
