Wednesday Weed Out: CDs

It’s Wednesday. Time to weed out and hopefully make some money. The weed out will take about 30 minutes but if you want to take it to the next level, consider that you will need to set aside more pockets of time.

CDs. Not Certificate of Deposits. Yes, let’s not weed out those.

1. As usual, collect all of your CDS. My guess is that they are in a lot of places, including the car.
2. Sort CDs. You can do this by genre, artist, alphabetically…whatever makes the most sense to you.
3. If you are married, you may have more than one of the same CD. Consider what you’d like to do with that.
4. Purge. Donate, Sell or Download or both! First download and then sell!
5. Label Unmarked CDS and unmarked cases. Match them up. Sharpies work fine.
6. Find a container/home/spot for what you decide to keep.

This may be the most fun weed out yet. You might laugh at what you used to think was a great CD, run across the song you danced to at your wedding, or the mix your college roommate made you for your 21^st birthday. Have fun!  Tell me about the fun songs you listened to while you weeded.
